The Meiji Jinku, is a shrine to the Meiji emperor who ruled in the late 1800's. To get to the shrine you take a long walk through the forest. Close by was You got a free CD form one of them. Yogi Park, which is where young music groups set up and play to promote themselves. One of the groups was playing rap. In the evening, there was a guy doing karaoke in one of the subway stations. He was doing songs in perfect English & sounded just like the original artists. The pictures with the big crowds were at Akasuka, which is another temple in the old part of Tokyo. It was the first place that had a lot of tourists booths. Surprisingly, mom didn’t buy anything. After lunch we went to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. It was nice, it kind of reminded me of Kubota Gardens. I’m still not that impressed by the gardens. Maybe in Kyoto they will be better.
